Should Make Investment Decision Based on EPS?

No, EPS is just a single indicator of the company. You have to screen other indicators such as the price-earnings ratio and return on equity. You also have to compare the quarter-to-quarter EPS, year to year growth.

In finance terms, Trailing 12 months (TTM) is a term to describe the past 12 consecutive months of a company’s performance data used in financial reporting. The 12 months studied do not necessarily coincide with a fiscal year ending period.
