As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Kumari Bank has donated smart televisions to six community secondary schools in Bajura’s remote Gaumul Rural Municipality to strengthen digital learning and improve access to quality education.
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) has donated smart televisions to six community secondary schools in the remote Gaumul Rural Municipality of Bajura District under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Implemented through the bank’s Gaumul Branch in coordination with the local government, the initiative aims to promote technology-enabled teaching, expand students’ access to digital learning, and improve the quality of education in geographically isolated communities. The beneficiary schools include Manakot Secondary School, Janajyoti Secondary School, Amlish Secondary School, Phoolpata Secondary School, Kirtichaur Secondary School, and Bal Bikas Secondary School. The bank said the smart TVs will enable students and teachers to use digital educational content, audiovisual learning materials, and modern teaching methods, helping bridge the educational gap between rural and urban areas. Reaffirming its commitment to the slogan “Kumari Bank for the Community,” the bank stated that it will continue investing in education, healthcare, financial literacy, environmental conservation, and community development through various CSR initiatives. With 25 years of banking service, Kumari Bank currently operates 286 branches, 41 extension counters, 304 ATMs, and 40 branchless banking units across Nepal, serving millions of customers while expanding access to quality banking services nationwide.
