    NEPSE Rebounds 14.17 Points, Turnover Reaches Rs 4.69 Billion

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) bounced back on Thursday, rising 14.17 points to close at 2,726.72, while daily turnover stood at Rs 4.69 billion with Trading sector leading the gains.

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recovered from the previous session's decline, gaining 14.17 points (0.52%) to close at 2,726.72. The benchmark index fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,726.77 and a low of 2,689.30, while total daily turnover reached Rs 4.69 billion. A total of 10.07 million shares of 338 listed companies were traded through 57,782 transactions, taking the market capitalization to Rs 46.86 trillion. Among individual stocks, Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) recorded the highest turnover at Rs 28.33 crore, while Everest Colour Limited (ECL) emerged as the top gainer with a 14.99% rise. On the losing side, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) declined by 15%, marking the biggest loss of the day. Sector-wise, the Trading Index posted the highest gain of 2.58%, whereas the Investment Index was the only major loser, slipping 0.42%. Market analysts noted that the short-term outlook remains bullish as long as the 2,750 support level holds, although stronger trading volume will be needed to sustain the current upward momentum.
