Nepal stock exchange (NEPSE) determined the opening price range of new stock based on the book value of company. For example, if book value of the company’s latest audited report is 100 then the opening price range will be 100 – 300. The minimum price should be same as book value and maximum price will be book value x 3.

About IPO Issue
Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited issued 236,250 units (worth Rs 2.36 crores) as Initial Public Offering to the general public. Out of those offered 236,250 units; 0.5% of the issued capital i.e., 3,281 units have been set aside for the employees of the company and 5% i.e., 11,813 units have been set aside for the mutual funds. The remaining 221,156 units are offered to the general public.
After the issuance of IPO, its paid-up capital will rise to Rs 6.56 crore, and the promoter/public ratio will be 64:36.
According to CDSC, 24,31,170 applicants have applied for a total of 2,75,65,230 units. i.e the issue was oversubscribed over 124.64 times.
