Opening Price Range of Balephi Hydropower is Rs. 91.86 to Rs. 275.58. This price range is determined as per the book value of the financial report of 2077/78. The audited final book value of green ventures according to the FY 2077/78 is Rs. 91.86.
According to the unaudited report till last Paush of current fiscal year, the net worth per share is Rs. 93.87 slightly more than previous FY. If the first transaction will be at the higher range i.e 275.58 then the allottees will have 275% return on the first day.
How opening price range is determined?
Nepal stock exchange (NEPSE) determined the opening price range of new stock based on the book value of company. For example, if book value of the company’s latest audited report is 100 then the opening price range will be 100 – 300. The minimum price should be same as book value and maximum price will be book value x 3.

Green Ventures Limited has issued 31,25,000 unit worth Rs 31.25 crore of Initial Public Offering (IPO). The issue had received applications from 21,06,516 valid applicants for total of 2,42,77,000 units. The issue was oversubscribed more than 8.44 times. A total of 2,87,500 applicants were allotted 10 units each via lottery system and remaining 18,19,016 applicants were returned empty hands.
