Gold and Silver Prices Rise in Nepal, Gold Hits Rs. 296,500 per Tola
Gold and silver prices have increased in Nepal’s domestic market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). Fine gold rose by Rs. 800 per tola to Rs. 296,500, while Tejabi gold also gained Rs. 800 to reach Rs. 295,800 per tola. Silver prices climbed by Rs. 35 to Rs. 4,440 per tola.
Gold and silver prices recorded an increase in Nepal’s domestic market, with both precious metals gaining value compared with their previous trading rates, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). The price of fine gold increased by Rs. 800 per tola, reaching Rs. 296,500, up from Rs. 295,700 per tola on the previous day. Similarly, Tejabi gold rose by Rs. 800 per tola to Rs. 295,800, compared with its earlier rate of Rs. 295,000. Silver prices also moved upward, gaining Rs. 35 per tola to reach Rs. 4,440, compared with the previous rate of Rs. 4,405 per tola. The latest price movements reflect an upward trend in Nepal’s domestic precious metals market. Gold and silver prices are closely monitored by consumers, jewellery buyers, traders, and investors, particularly during the festive season when demand for jewellery and precious metals typically attracts greater attention.
