Rastriya Banijya Bank Launches Online Loan Application Portal

Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) has launched an online loan application portal as part of the Nepal Government's 100-point governance and public service delivery reform plan, aiming to make its lending services faster, simpler, and more transparent. Through the new system, customers can apply for loans digitally via the bank's website, monitor the status of their applications online, and complete the borrowing process with greater convenience. The initiative is expected to reduce paperwork, enhance transparency, and improve the overall customer experience through technology-driven banking services. Established in 1966 as a fully government-owned commercial bank, RBB has expanded its network to 316 branches across all 77 districts of Nepal. The bank offers a wide range of financial services, including digital banking, ATM services, and other modern banking solutions, and says the new online platform is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen digital transformation and improve service delivery.
