More Than 25 Workers Trapped Inside Langtang Hydropower Tunnel in Rasuwa

More than 25 workers have been trapped inside the tunnel of the under-construction 20 MW Langtang Hydropower Project in Rasuwa after floods or landslides blocked the access route. Communication with the workers has been lost, leaving their current condition unknown. Efforts are underway to arrange a helicopter for rescue, but the lack of available aircraft, difficult terrain and communication disruption have made the rescue operation challenging.
