Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) has published its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of FY 2082/83, reporting significant growth across key financial indicators. The company’s electricity sales revenue more than doubled during the review period, contributing to a substantial increase in profitability. The company generated Rs. 37.75 crore in electricity sales revenue by the end of the fiscal year, representing a 101.95% increase compared to Rs. 18.69 crore recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The strong growth in electricity sales revenue helped drive the company’s bottom line. Net profit increased by 241.50% year-on-year to Rs. 11.18 crore, compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the company’s gross profit rose by 273.59%, while operating profit increased by 111.39% during the review period. However, finance costs also increased by 57.77%. The improvement in profitability was also reflected in the company’s earnings per share. EPS increased by Rs. 7.56 to Rs. 11.93 at the end of Q4. The company reported a book value per share of Rs. 112.09, while its P/E ratio stood at 65.31x. Snow Rivers has a paid-up capital of Rs. 93.75 crore, while its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 11.33 crore by the end of the fourth quarter. Overall, the company recorded a strong improvement in earnings, primarily driven by the significant growth in electricity sales revenue.
