LPG Gas Exchange Centers Increased to 11 in Kathmandu Valley Ahead of Dashain

The number of LPG gas exchange centers in Kathmandu Valley has been increased to 11 to ensure an adequate supply of cooking gas during Dashain. After six centers failed to meet consumer demand on the first day of distribution on Sunday, five additional locations were added from Monday in coordination with the Nepal Oil Corporation and the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association. Consumers can exchange an empty cylinder of any company for a filled cylinder of another company available at the designated centers without paying any additional charge. The exchange facility will operate at the 11 designated locations until Ashoj 30, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily. According to the association, a total of 3,075 LPG cylinders from various companies were distributed through the six centers on Sunday, the first day of the program.
