Siddharth Bank Sets October 1 as Final Day to Secure 20% Dividend
Siddharth Bank Limited (SBL) has fixed Ashoj 15 as the final trading day for shareholders to remain eligible for its proposed 20% dividend.
Siddharth Bank Limited (SBL) has announced that Thursday, Ashoj 15, 2083 (October 1, 2026) is the last day to secure its proposed dividend and eligibility to participate in the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The bank will close its books on Ashoj 16, 2083 (October 2, 2026) for the AGM and dividend distribution. Accordingly, shareholders who hold the bank’s shares through transactions completed by Ashoj 15 will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the AGM. Siddharth Bank is holding its 25th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, Ashoj 28, 2083 (October 14, 2026) at 9:00 AM at Army Officers’ Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The AGM will seek approval for the distribution of a 10% bonus share dividend and a 10% cash dividend, including tax, based on the bank’s current paid-up capital. The meeting will also consider a proposal to distribute 8.25% cash dividend on a proportionate basis for 136 days to holders of non-redeemable non-cumulative preference shares. Other agendas include authorizing the Board of Directors to amend the bank’s Memorandum and Articles of Association and appointing the auditor, among other proposals.
