Taxpayer Incentive Prize: 33 Winners to Be Announced Today

The Ministry of Finance is set to announce the Bhadra winners of its Taxpayer Incentive Prize Program, introduced from the current fiscal year 2083/84. According to the Inland Revenue Department, the winners will be announced at 11:30 AM today at the department’s conference hall in Lazimpat. Media representatives have also been invited to attend the announcement program. The announcement was initially scheduled for Bhadra 16 but was postponed following the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi area. The rescheduled program is being held today. A total of 33 winners will be selected under the Bhadra draw. Among them, 31 winners will receive Rs. 100,000 each, while two winners will be awarded bumper prizes. The program is part of the government’s initiative to encourage taxpayers and promote a culture of tax compliance.
