Prime Minister Balendra Shah has once again begun consultations with entrepreneurs and business leaders as the government seeks ways to strengthen economic activity and address challenges facing the private sector. According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Shah is holding discussions with four prominent business leaders—Binod Chaudhary, Pawan Golyan, Umesh Shrestha and Chandra Dhakal. The meeting is focused on Nepal’s current economic situation, challenges faced by the private sector in operating industries and businesses, the investment environment, job creation and measures to make economic activities more dynamic. The Prime Minister had previously held consultations with entrepreneurs and business leaders on economic and private-sector issues. The latest round of discussions comes as the government continues to explore measures to boost investment, business confidence and economic activity.
