ANISU (R) Demands Fee Waivers, Hostel Support for Rasuwa Flood-Affected TU Students

The All Nepal National Independent Student Union (Revolutionary) Tribhuvan University District Committee has demanded fee concessions and hostel arrangements for students affected by the Rasuwa floods. The committee submitted a memorandum to TU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa on Monday, urging the university to provide relief for educational expenses incurred by flood-affected students and arrange accommodation in hostels. The committee also called for the 67th TU Senate meeting to be convened soon to approve the pending annual budget, policies and administrative decisions, along with speeding up the appointment of vacant Senate members. It has further demanded action against campuses operating programs of other universities or boards using TU infrastructure in violation of affiliation rules and called for the legal recovery of TU's encroached movable and immovable properties.
