    Global IME Bank Approves 10% Dividend at 20th AGM

    Global IME Bank has approved a 10% dividend, comprising 4% bonus shares and 6% cash dividend including tax, from its profit for FY 2082/83.

    Global IME Bank Approves 10% Dividend at 20th AGM

    Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has successfully concluded its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday at Nepal Police Club in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The AGM unanimously approved the proposal to distribute a total 10% dividend to shareholders from the bank’s profit for the fiscal year 2082/83. The dividend comprises 4% bonus shares and 6% cash dividend, including tax. The AGM also endorsed the annual report and integrated financial statements presented by the bank’s Chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, on behalf of the Board of Directors. During the review period, the bank reported a net profit of Rs. 6.04 billion, marking a 15.90% increase compared to the previous fiscal year. Similarly, the bank posted an operating profit of Rs. 9.60 billion. Following the distribution of the approved bonus shares, the bank’s paid-up capital has reached Rs. 39.686 billion.
