NEPSE Slips 9.62 Points as Market Closes at 2,603.71

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a single-digit decline on Tuesday, falling 9.62 points (0.36%) to close at 2,603.71. The benchmark index opened at 2,610.16, reached an intraday high of 2,614.47 and fell to a low of 2,588.28 during the session. The market recorded a total turnover of Rs. 4.65 arba, with 11,069,074 shares traded through 51,274 transactions involving 363 companies. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.78 kharba, while float market capitalization stood at Rs. 15.17 kharba. Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) topped the turnover chart with transactions worth Rs. 22.99 crore, closing at Rs. 1,297. Meanwhile, ICFCD83 led the gainers with a 9.18% rise, while C30MF recorded the highest decline of 5.44%. Among sectoral indices, the Others Index gained 0.12%, while the Trading Index posted the highest decline of 1.87%.
