NEPSE Donates Rs. 1.11 Crore for Bhotekoshi Flood Relief
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has contributed Rs. 1,11,11,111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of victims affected by the devastating Bhotekoshi flood.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has provided Rs. 1 crore 11 lakh 11 thousand 111 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the relief and rescue of people affected by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River. The contribution was made under NEPSE’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. NEPSE handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle during a program held today. The massive flood that struck the Bhotekoshi River on Bhadra 10, 2083, caused extensive loss of life and property in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and surrounding areas. NEPSE said the financial support was provided to assist government-led rescue operations and provide immediate relief to disaster-affected citizens. Finance Minister Dr. Wagle pledged that the donated amount would be used transparently for immediate relief, medical treatment and rehabilitation of people affected by the floods.
