Members of Parliament representing the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) from Sudurpashchim Province met Prime Minister Balen Shah at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Tuesday to discuss the region’s development priorities, political situation, and local challenges. During the meeting, the lawmakers appreciated the government's efforts in promoting good governance and pledged to highlight those achievements in Parliament. They urged the Prime Minister to accelerate major projects, including the operation of Geta University, the West Seti Hydropower Project, and the Pancheshwar Multipurpose Project. They also raised concerns over the Dhangadhi–Khutiya–Dipayal Fast Track, stray cattle management, electrification, road safety, embankment construction, river erosion in Dodhara-Chandani, customs-related issues, grievances of reserve-affected communities, delays in the Postal Highway project, and challenges faced by farmers in paddy procurement and sales. Prime Minister Shah assured the lawmakers that the government would take the issues raised seriously and make the necessary efforts to address them.
