Nepal Telecom Appoints Rajendra Kumar Poudel as New Chairman

Nepal Telecom (Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited) has made changes to its Board of Directors in accordance with the company’s regulations and the Companies Act, 2063. Rajendra Kumar Poudel has been appointed as the company’s new Chairman. Following his transfer from the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers of Koshi Province to the Ministry of Information and Communications, Poudel has assumed the chairmanship previously held by Laxmi Kumari Basnet. Similarly, Ravilal Sharma has been appointed as a new Board Member, replacing Subas Chandra Shiwakoti. The changes are part of the company’s board restructuring in line with its regulatory provisions and applicable company law.
