NIMB Partners with Sajha Yatayat to Enable Digital Bus Fare Payments

Nepal Investment Mega Bank Limited (NIMB) has partnered with Sajha Yatayat to support the cooperative’s digital ticketing system for public transportation. Under the partnership, NIMB will serve as the payment partner, providing passengers with secure and convenient options for digital fare payments. Sajha Yatayat buses will use NIMB’s POS machines to issue tickets and accept payments through cards and other digital payment channels. Sajha Yatayat has been expanding its digital infrastructure, including a modern command and control center and cashless ticketing facilities. The digital ticketing system is designed to accommodate multiple payment methods while reducing dependence on cash transactions. The partnership is expected to further expand digital payment access in public transportation, while making fare collection more transparent, convenient, and efficient for passengers.
