NEPSE Edges Higher: Market Shows Signs of Life in Tense Pre-Open Kickoff!
The NEPSE index recorded a marginal gain of 0.32 points during the pre-open session on the first trading day of the week. Trading volume reached approximately Rs 7.5 million with 50 stocks participating in the session.
The NEPSE index saw a slight increase during the pre-open session on the first trading day of the week. After closing at 2,738.72 points last Thursday following a 5.73-point drop, the index rose by 0.32 points today to reach 2,739.04. Additionally, the sensitive index climbed by 0.70 points during the same period.
During Monday's pre-open session, a total of 15,299 shares from 50 different companies were exchanged through 100 transactions, amounting to a turnover of Rs 7,497,019.60. Among the stocks traded, 16 companies saw their share prices increase, 20 companies experienced a decrease, and the prices of 14 stocks remained unchanged.
