Gold, Silver Prices Extend Decline in Nepal; Gold Falls Rs. 500
Gold and silver prices continued their downward trend in Nepal on Friday, with gold declining by Rs. 500 per tola and silver by Rs. 30 per tola.
Gold and silver prices declined in the domestic market on Friday, Ashoj 9, with both precious metals recording further losses compared to the previous trading session. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs. 298,600 per tola today, down Rs. 500 from Rs. 299,100 per tola recorded on Thursday. Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs. 30 per tola to Rs. 4,620 per tola, compared to Rs. 4,650 per tola on Thursday. The latest decline extends the recent downward trend in the prices of both gold and silver in the domestic market.
